This month I am deeply honoured that the Complementary Medical Association has recognised the importance of Ground & Rise® Tarot as a method for self-reflection by short-listing me for the 🌟 Rising Star Award 🌟 at their awards this October 2025.
Ground & Rise® Tarot has grown into a method, a course, a retreat, and a conversation – but it started with a question: Can tarot be a tool for healing, not just insight?
I’ve since brought this work into CPD workshops, training, retreats and consultations, and now to be acknowledged as part of the profession’s future feels like something settling into place.
Thank you for being part of the journey.
Rising Star Award – CMA 2025 Application
I’m nominating myself for the Rising Star Award in recognition of my early contribution to the field of complementary practice through the development of Ground & Rise® Tarot, a psychosynthesis-informed approach to tarot that supports self-awareness, intuition, and spiritual integration.
Qualified as a psychosynthesis life coach in 2020, and having developed my MA research on The Tarot as a Tool for Psychosynthesis (2022), I created a coaching intervention that bridges spiritual insight with a psychological framework. Ground & Rise® Tarot emerged from my own process of healing, reinvention, and deep study and is now used to support clients and practitioners working with tarot not for divination, but as a tool for insight, integration, and meaningful change.
This work is especially relevant for those navigating emotional change, spiritual awakening, or identity shifts. My coaching and tarot consultation clients are often highly self-aware, yet unsure how to access their intuition in a grounded way. The Ground & Rise® framework creates space for insight, emotional safety, and forward movement. It fuses inner parts-work, ethical coaching practice, and archetypal exploration – all anchored in the act of drawing a tarot card.
In the past two years, I’ve created an on-demand Beginner’s Tarot course, run multiple sold-out seasonal workshops, and launched UK-based retreats combining tarot with nature, intention-setting and reflection. I’ve delivered CPD workshops at the EMCC (European Mentoring and Coaching Council), and recently presented at the Psychosynthesis Summit in New York and soon at the UK Tarot-by-the-Sea Conference, introducing coaches, psychologists, and spiritual practitioners to this method of soulful self-inquiry.
This year, I was nominated for a Business Ascension Award for Heart-Centred Customer Service, recognising how I hold ethical, inclusive space for clients exploring intuitive and spiritual dimensions of growth. I also mentor developing coaches as a Senior Coach with Psychosynthesis Coaching Ltd, supporting others to integrate soulful presence with professional skill.
I believe this work speaks directly to the next chapter of complementary practice, one that honours inner authority, blends intuition with integration, and welcomes the unseen as a meaningful part of human health and wholeness.
As an emerging voice in the field, I hope to continue bringing fresh language, inclusive practice, and accessible spiritual tools to those who need them. It would be an honour to be recognised as a Rising Star at this stage in the journey.
