This month I asked a question of the Pagan Otherworlds Tarot deck.
What follows is an edited transcript of that reading.
If you’d like to watch the video version of this reading, you can find it here on YouTube.
It’s crazy. Well, it’s not crazy – but I just pulled three Pentacles in a row and thought, Wait, is this not a shuffled deck? But it is. It’s completely shuffled, as you can see.
And yet, I’ve drawn the Six, the Five, and the Three of Pentacles in response to the question: How can a heart-led entrepreneur best work with their many inner parts?
This feels like a really manifesting response. All three cards are from the suit of Pentacles, which traditionally represent material reality, embodiment, and manifestation. In this deck, the Pentacle is drawn as a five-pointed star within a circle. The five points symbolise earth, air, fire, water, and ether (or spirit), held within a container. And that container is us. We are the vessel for these elemental forces. We’re the ones who bring vision into form.
As heart-led entrepreneurs, this speaks directly to our urge to manifest – to create, to contribute, to offer something meaningful to the world. And in this reading, the cards speak to that whole cycle – of giving, enduring, and imagining anew.
Six of Pentacles
From the guidebook:
“Butterflies circle in the air around six golden medallions and hover above a small cluster of flowers by the side of an oak tree… Youth shares its fresh gifts with age, and wisdom from the ages is given back… This is a card about the joy of sharing our gifts with each other and the world… We rejuvenate each other and create the powerful circle of life.”
This card reminds us of the generosity embedded in our work – the instinct to share what we’ve learned, what we’ve made, and what we’re becoming. It also speaks to reciprocal energy, of being part of a community where both giving and receiving are honoured.
Five of Pentacles
From the guidebook:
“Winter has settled upon the land… This is a time of hunger, scarcity, and need… But even in the cold, a small clump of green grass can be seen… Though it may seem impossible to believe, you are enough.”
This card acknowledges the challenge of continuing to create when conditions feel barren – whether that’s external (lack of resources, recognition, support) or internal (doubt, fear, exhaustion). The message is gentle but firm: you are enough, even when it doesn’t feel like it. Life is still moving underground.
Three of Pentacles
From the guidebook:
“A rock totem stands on a mound with three golden medallions next to it in the air… Here is the card that prizes our imaginations above all else as the gift of creation we all share.”
This is the invitation to create anyway. To honour your imagination, your design, your desire to shape something beautiful and meaningful. It’s not a solitary effort either – there’s a sense of co-creation, of designing within and with community, of working with the world and not in spite of it.
Reflection
Together, these cards speak to the ebb and flow of being a heart-led entrepreneur. The part of you that wants to offer and share. The part that gets scared or discouraged when things don’t go as planned. The part that imagines, reinvents, and begins again.
It’s OK to feel pulled in different directions by your inner parts. This reading reminds us to keep going, even in the winter moments. Don’t stop creating. Don’t lose sight of your unique contribution. Your creativity is not just valuable – it’s vital!
Keep showing up to yourself and your creative impulses in whichever direction they take. Some inner parts may find regrouping and remagining a challenge, but this is your path 🙂
